The second dispute resolution meeting ended today. The employers have refused to move from the final offer they made in May of 1.5% for 2021-22. This follows a 0% offer for 2020-21. Inflation has been rising rapidly since the start of the year.

The best way to avoid the disruption of last year is to reduce infections and prevent outbreaks
That's why we are calling for all eligible students to be offered the opportunity to be fully vaccinated before September

We are calling for all students to be vaccinated before September and for masks to be made compulsory in both further and higher education.
A repeat of the disruption last year would be unforgivable.
