This is to give you notice that this year’s branch Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 14 June at 1pm. It will be a hybrid meeting. Check your email for a link closer to time.
As well as reviewing our work of the year, and planning for the next, the branch will elect its officers and executive committee.
All members – particularly those who have been active in our activities this year – are encouraged to put themselves forward.
The timetable and details of how to nominate are below – but the essential dates are that nominations open on 3 May and close on 25 May.

Wednesday 3 May – Nominations open. Members can self-nominate for any position or nominate other members (with their agreement) for any position. Candidates are encouraged to forward a supporting statement (350-word max) by 24 May.
Thursday 25 May – Nominations close (at 18.00).
Friday 26 May – Candidates to be notified of other candidacies, allowing discussion on role-shares and/or withdrawals (and possibly extending deadline for nominations for any potentially unfilled posts).
Thursday 1 June – List of candidates with supporting statements to be circulated to branch members.
Friday 2 June: (If necessary) electronic ballot opens.
Monday 12 June: Electronic ballot closes:
Wednesday 14 June: Results announced at AGM.
